Chronic Mental Illness

Being diagnosed with a chronic illness will affect you physically and emotionally. The diagnosis can also affect the way you view yourself and how you view the world outside.  Living with and accepting a diagnosis can be a difficult and painful process, which can seem overwhelming and make managing daily tasks unbearable at times.   Therapy can help those with chronic illnesses manage and cope with the negative thoughts and self doubts that come with the diagnosis. I have a special interest in working to relieve the anxiety and depression that accompanies chronic illnesses.
